Honestly, Beth was amazing. Getting her on board was the best decision we made in planning our wedding.
We had Beth as our on the day coordinator. Our wedding was ambitious; three venues, three outfits, over 20 suppliers, lots of DIY bits and over 200 guests. Thanks to Beth, we felt looked after, fully supported, and given the space we needed to appreciate and enjoy the day. It was an intimidating day, but having Beth in our corner calmed the nerves and meant we could be properly present in each moment. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, Beth took care of it all behind the scenes and it ran like clockwork. In the run up to the wedding the planning sessions were amazingly thorough, ensuring every part of the day was properly thought through and would run smoothly. Beth became the single point of contact for all our suppliers, which was huge for us. It removed an enormous amount of stress and helped catch some mistakes we’d made while making the bookings! Beth was also super flexible and understanding, agreeing to start working with us 2 weeks earlier than planned, listening to our slightly madder ideas, as well as handling last minute panicked requests with ease.
If you are having a less than traditional wedding, and are undecided about whether you need an on-the-day coordinator, we cannot recommend Beth’s services enough. Beth’s event management experience was so so valuable, she thought of so many details that would never have occurred to us and we now laugh about how the day would have ended up if we’d attempted to manage it ourselves. You don’t want to have all the ingredients for the best day of your life, and then spend the day itself worrying about transport, suppliers, guests or timings!

In all truth, when we first found Beth, my partner was unsure if we needed Beth’s help. He said he could do everything himself and didn’t need any help. As we signed up, and the process of planning began, he started to eat his words and then by the end he had said that we couldn’t have done it without her.
Beth genuinely loves her job and honestly cannot do enough to ensure your day is perfect for you – she sends you updates and queries throughout the whole process. She has great attention to detail and, by working with your suppliers puts together an amazing day. Beth also deals with all your suppliers queries (different times depending on which package you decide to book) and all you have to do is pay! I’ve always been put off wedding fairs as they seem very corporate and a bit dull. I was drawn to this event as it seemed to give off the right kind of spark that I love. There was definitely nothing corporate about it! The event was great, well organised, the other suppliers were really friendly, helpful and chatty. I have made 4 bookings from couples I met at the event which I have heard is an impressive number. Thanks Alt Events for introducing me to wedding fairs with a difference.
